One-Pot Halal Beef Stew Recipe



1 lb beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 cups beef broth
1 can diced tomatoes
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish


Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.

Add the onions and garlic to the pot and cook until the onions are soft and translucent.

Add the carrots, potatoes, beef broth, diced tomatoes, cumin, paprika, and cinnamon to the pot. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 1-2 hours, or until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through. Season the stew with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the one-pot halal beef stew hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
